In 1870, Spanish businessman Juan Lopez opened a cigar factory in Havana and officially created his own brand in 1876. Before the Cuban Revolution, the brand was a very popular premium Cuban brand, attracting many loyal fans of Havana cigars with its gentle and unique woody aroma. The entire series of cigars has a medium to rich taste, and the wrapper and wrapper tobacco are all from the Vuelta Abajo region, all handmade long core cigars (Totalmente a Mano con Tripa Larg).
