Punch
Panqu is the second oldest Cuban cigar brand in history, founded by Don Manuel Lopez. The brand name originates from a popular British puppet show in the 19th century, featuring a couple named Punch and Judy. The founder was inspired by this famous puppet and named the cigar "Punch" in 1840. And the male protagonist Punch in the puppet show also appears on the cigar label, wearing a red long tail hat and sitting on a chair smoking a cigar. In 1931, Pan Qu moved to his friend's factory to produce cigars, which is now the La Corona factory. The brand's medium to strong flavor blends different sizes of tobacco leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region, all of which are handmade long core cigars (Totalmente a Mano con Tripa Larga).
