CAO
The brand name of CAO originates from the founder of the company, Cano A. Ozgener (CAO for short), an American engineer of Türkiye origin, which was founded in 1968. CAO started with pipes and then ventured into cigar humidifiers. It entered the cigar industry in 1980 and was acquired by Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) in 2007. Currently, it mainly operates factories in Nicaragua.
