Flor de Selva
Flor de Selva
Maya Selva, a Honduran French, had a dream that she wanted to make a product 100% made in Honduras, and then she thought of cigars. With the help of Nestor Plasencia, she founded the Maya Silva Cigar Company in France in 1995 and launched the first cigar brand - the Flower of Selva, introducing the terroir of Honduras to France. She was also the only female cigar producer. The cigars under the banner of Selva are handmade in Honduras and personally selected by Maya Silva from the highest quality tobacco produced in Honduras and Nicaragua. Subsequently, she launched Cumpay cigars in 1999 and Villa Zamorano in 2002, which immediately shone in the cigar industry upon their release.
