Villiger
Jean Villiger, a 28 year old businessman, founded the Power Processing Factory in his Swiss home in 1888 and was led by his wife Louise Villiger after her death in 1902. In 1907, under the leadership of Louise, the market's first quill smoking cigar was launched and achieved sensational success. In 1910, a subsidiary was established in Germany to promote Swiss quality internationally. Eight years later, Hans and Max Villiger took over the company and continued to expand its business territory, successfully launching the RIO 6 product, which gained a great reputation in the German Defense Forces. After World War II, in 1950, it regained its momentum and further expanded, starting to venture into fields such as bicycles and racing, which received widespread media exposure. It was not until 1983 that it focused on maintaining stable production in the "Tobacco City" of Bend. Up to now, the brand has established production factories in Brazil and Nicaragua. Heinrich Villiger, as the most experienced and ancient cigar entrepreneur, is a leading expert in the tobacco world, creating the brand's 135 year history of success and family tradition.
