The history of Cuban fragrance can be traced back to the late 1880s in Cuba. It was once an original Cuban brand founded by Ashton, and recently invited cigar master Jos é "Pepin" Garcia to remake and blend it. It was reintroduced in 2009 and quickly became one of the popular cigar brands in the market. Garcia was responsible for blending tobacco leaves for Cohiba, Monte, and Patgas in the 1990s, and was also a consultant for several cigar manufacturers.
