The Tatuaje Gran Cojonu was released in 2005 as part of the Pete Johnson Series, which began in 2003 and was released every few years, changing the blend with each release. The Cojonu series is a stronger and spicier version of the regular Tatuaje cigars, and the Tatuaje Gran Cojonu is no exception, featuring a Nicaraguan Corojo 99 wrapper and a first-generation Cuban seed Nicaraguan wrapper and binder. This cigar is a large toro at 6 1/2 inches x 60 ring gauge, and after the initial peppery start that is characteristic of Pepin Garcia cigars, it develops a rich, complex, nutty flavor that makes for a great smoking experience.
