Biyada is an existing pre revolutionary brand founded by a Spanish grocery store owner Vicente Piedra in 1880. Later, his nephew Jose Lamadrid Piedra led the second-generation family members to develop and establish his own eponymous brand. The core tobacco leaves of Biyada cigars are all handmade short core cigars (Totalmente a Mano Tripa Corta) from the Remedios tobacco plantation.
